Our Training Techniques
Our journey began with a focus on communication through leashes and toys. However, we quickly recognized that a "one-size-fits-all" system is ineffective for the vast diversity of dog breeds and personalities. This led to a pivotal shift in our approach. Through extensive research and hands-on work with partners like local animal rescue shelters, we embraced a more versatile system that incorporates a wide array of tools, including food-based positive reinforcement, to find the most effective communication style for each dog.
Our commitment to excellence has allowed us to build a strong reputation through client referrals and deep involvement in the Florida dog community. K'9LIN trainers are active in various dog clubs and have experience preparing dogs for high-level roles, including police department work and competitive sports like IGP and PSA. This breadth of experience informs all our services, from Basic Obedience and Manners to Advanced Behavior Modification and Agility.
K9LIN offers one-on-one training sessions as well as group classes for puppies and more advanced dogs. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging for the entire family, strengthening your bond while achieving your training goals.
